Raptor Observations: Good flight of broad-winged hawk throughout the day with a strong pulse midmorning when thermals were at their peak. Good movement of small kettles and streams in the afternoon.
Non-raptor Observations: ruby-throated hummingbird, common nighthawk, red-headed woodpecker, blue-headed vireo, cedar waxwing, eastern bluebird, cape may, bt green warblers.
Predictions: Showers expected throughout the day high of 71. This will shut down the migration. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Laurie Goodrich (<goodrich...>) Hawk Mountain Sanctuary information may be found at: http://www.hawkmountain.org/
