About hearing Pinyon Jays. I am not very familiar with this species, and
only yesterday did I learn how many different calls they have. The two
sample in Sibley's app does a poor job representing this variety. This
selection by Nathan Pieplow does a much better job:

Yesterday, I heard a flock along East Camino Cielo and they were making P
ieplow's "Ree-er-er" call.
