New female at the feeder, this one with some stuck sap/jelly on her face. Small pale hummingbird with relatively long, slightly curved bill, pale throat, pale underparts, etc. Notably smaller and structurally distinct compared to the ANHUs at the feeder and in vicinity. Gave a few higher-pitched squeaky chips when flying off. Unfortunately was quickly chased off by an ANHU when I came back with my camera for pics."

Brownish olive above, bright yellow throat and breast, white belly, longish tail, dark lores, white spectacles, and heavy bill. Looked to be a 1st year bird with dark gray cheek and weak white malar. Silent. Think this may be only my second fall sighting ever of this species!"
