Hi all,
I just flushed a Bobolink from the flooded reeds on the south shore of Quail Lake, roughly here: 34.77,-118.75. This bird is probably not chasable with the lake conditions as they are now. Through a series of questionable decisions, I found myself there in shin-to-knee deep water (I also flushed swimming mallards shortly afterwards). Only posting here because I don't think there is is a report of a Bobolink on eBird within about 20 miles of this spot. I expect there will be more chaseable birds elsewhere.
