We were excited to have a beautiful summer tanager visit our birdbath/pond
this afternoon. Female or young male, with beautiful saffron coloring in
the vent and a very rich yellow/orange/gold plumage. Didn't stay long,
but cooperative for my rusty camera skills.
We're only a few blocks from Fort Lowell Park, so it could possibly be
visiting there as well?
