Hi birders,

Not surprisingly, this last few weeks bird migration has really picked up.

A few highlights from today:

Near the Fern Grotto Beach on the Wilder Old Cove Trail, there was a
WESTERN KINGBIRD on a fence line. Then a WHITE-FACED IBIS flew along the
coast. This afternoon I had my first of season GOLDEN CROWNED SPARROW in
our garden. Meanwhile, I'm hearing almost every day now, a RED-BREASTED
NUTHATCH near our home.

Stepping back a bit, for more trend details see the the latest BirdCast
Migration Dashboard for SC county:

Fun birding,

Pete Solé
