Weather:
Mostly cloudy with a few short periods of sprinkles. Light southwest winds.
Warm and muggy.

Raptor Observations:
A slow day overall. Ospreys were most numerous with ten, with seven of
those coming in the last two hours. Five sharpies and two Coops. One
Merlin. No broad-wings.

Non-raptor Observations:
Morning birding: Black-and-white Warbler, Indigo Bunting.

Hawk Watch: 3 Common Nighthawks, 5 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, Eastern
Phoebe, Scarlet Tanager, CLOUDLESS SULPHUR, 6 Monarchs.

Predictions:
TOMORROW: Intervals of clouds and sunshine. Slight chance of a rain shower.
High 84F. Winds N at 5-10mph. A favorable wind direction. I would expect a
moderate raptor flight overall. Finally some increasing broad-winged hawk
totals in New England with over 750 seen at Pack Monadnock (NH) this
morning. With no broad-wings seen here today I wouldn't expect a morning
liftoff, but with the favorable winds perhaps some of the New England
broad-wings could arrive later in the day.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy. High around 75F. Winds NE shifting E at 5-10mph.
Decent conditions again. Check back tomorrow. The last decent day before
six days of cloudy, rainy conditions.

SUNDAY: Morning showers evolving into a steady rain for the afternoon. High
76F. Winds S at 10-15mph. Chance of rain 80%. Count will likely be
shortened.
