Hi Pete,
I saw that bird at Shorebirds yesterday afternoon, but couldn't positively
ID it at the time. It was actively feeding with a Solitary Sandpiper. The
leucistic Red-necked Phalarope was still there with several others of
expected plumage. A surprise Black-necked Stilt flew in and there were many
Greater Yellowlegs along with only two Mallards actively foraging in the
shallow water and on the mudflats..
