At Chadbourne Gulch the continuing Wood Thrush, found on Sept 10 by Peter Pyle, is still there as of 9:50 this morning. Heard calling at 8:30 in response to a MOB call played by Logan Kahle who was there with several of the other new generation birders. I ventured into the riparian area near the creek, sat in a chair and waited occasionally using various calls. The bird flew in silently behind me in response to a “scolding SWTH call”.
