Weather: SSE wind at varying speeds, generally 8-12 mph. Sunny with almost no cloud cover for most of the day except in the last our when clouds quickly came in.
We had our first GOEA of the season at exactly 15:00 on the S side. It gave us a quick but great look as the sun illuminated its head and tawny bar perfectly. The vultures were not as thrilled as us to see it and made a big scene as it passed through.
A local RTHA made several consecutive passes at the owl today and gave us an amazing show as it called and hovered over our heads. A local RSHA also went for the owl in the morning.
