Subject: [sbcobirding] More Pinyon Jays
All,

While working on the ridges above Miguelito Canyon today, I heard a flock of Pinyon Jays for over a minute but could not locate them. They appeared to be moving W or NW.

Unfortunately the feeding frenzy reported by James Rounds at the SYRE was not in evidence, although I did see 4 Common Terns, a Baird's Sandpiper and a Merlin.

Regards,

Nick Lethaby
