Weather: Mostly clear blue skies (you know what that means) with temp's starting the 50's and getting into low 80's by days end.
Raptor Observations: "Broad wings" made their entrance early in the day and kept up a steady movement all day. No large kettles today! A couple of adult Bald eagles were counted and a female Northern Harrier made a late day appearance. Accipiters were present in the later part of the day.
Non-raptor Observations: Early morning small bird flight was very good with Bruce Carl finding 40+/- species. Highlights included 10 warblers,Philadelphia Vireo, most of the local Woodpeckers, Swainson's Thrush and Red Breasted Nuthatch(early bird!) and the usual locals.
Predictions: Broadwings due any day now!
