Subject: [cobirds] Chico Basin Ranch Banding Station Report-Bird Conservancy of the Rockies-September 16, 2026
You never know what birds will appear at Chico Basin Ranch. Many Lincoln's
Sparrow, Green-tailed Towhees, and Wilson's Warblers around today. Fourteen
bird species were captured. Mountain Academy 6th graders visited the
station today. Kudos for the teachers that ask questions to make their
students think about bird conservation. We definitely had lots of species
to show them.
