Apologies for the delay in getting out this message! We had a great 2 weeks in Ridgway State Park, banding a total of 161 birds of 29 species. Here were the counts for those weeks:
The highlight for me was definitely the Brown Creeper, which we caught on our 7:00 run on 9/4.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to visit or to help out at Ridgway! We had a wonderful few weeks of birds, and we engaged tons of students. Stay tuned for our first Grand Junction tally at the end of this week!
