Saturday morning a flock flew into the tops of some of the trees in the parking lot for the visitor center. If I hadn't noticed that they sounded particularly raspy for Scrub Jays I wouldn't have even looked. They were in and out and nothing really suggested that they'd be hanging around at that spot, but they're up in the mountains somewhere.
