A Zone-tailed Hawk is (was 10:00-10:19) flying around over Arcadia. This is roughly at Santa Anita Ave and Orange Grove, circling high and east-southeast maybe over Whispering Pines Drive. I first saw it low and it may have come out of the row of tall pines (night roost?) that run SW from near the corner of Virginia and Highland Oaks. Perhaps it's our returning bird.
