Thanks for the article, Dan. Sunrise is one of my favourite places for
summer and autumn hiking, and I'm sad I won't get to do Burroughs now this
year.
I'm not sure I want to see what Grand Park looks like after the fire's
burned there for so many weeks. I'd been planning to do that hike from the
Lake Eleanor entrance this year, but the fire got there first. Grand Park
was a stunningly gorgeous place - I just hope the trees weren't all killed
and recovery might take years rather than centuries :-(
