This is the Barr report for SATURDAY, 9/12/26. (My apologies; my computer
went crazy yesterday.)

We had another very busy day at Barr, banding a total of 128 birds. As
usual this year (and most years) driven by Wilson's Warblers. We banded
another 97 today, bringing our total to date to 679, which is more than any
total season in at least the past 20 years. They must have had a
spectacular breeding season. Here's the breakdown of the 128 banded
Saturday:

Hammond's Flycatcher 1
Dusky Flycatcher 1
Cassin's Vireo 1
Red-breasted Nuthatch 2
Northern House Wren 2
Golden-crowned Kinglet 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Yellow Warbler 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Audubon's 4
Townsend's Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 1
Wilson's Warbler 97
Yellow-breasted Chat 1
Western Tanager 1 FOS
Spotted Towhee 2 FOS
Chipping Sparrow 1
Song Sparrow 1
Lincoln's Sparrow 1
Dark-eyed Junco, Oregon 3
Lazuli Bunting 1 FOS

We are open Tuesday through Sunday, weather permitting, through October
23. Most weekday mornings there is a visitor session from 7:30 to 8:30,
and on the weekends there are sessions at 8, 9 and 10 a.m. Reservations
