Subject: [NHBirds] 97 Common Nighthawks - Franklin Falls
Despite the murky weather with a very low ceiling (~500 ft), nighthawks flew tonight, southbound into  a calm to very light south wind, mostly sticking close to the river.
The significance of this count is that it ties the latest date for a count by a systematic watch.  Concord counted 10 on this date in 2020.  The average end date in Concord is the 7th.  Anything counted after today makes history.
Tomorrow is a hawkwatching day but Tuesday could see more nighthawks pass on south winds.
