Subject: [cobirds] Register now for BCAS bird walks and Teen Naturalists programs
Fall is around the corner, and birds are on the move! Join Boulder County
Audubon Society for Saturday morning field trips with Carl Starace. These
bird walks are free, but we do ask that you register. Details in the links
below:



September 19 at Sandstone Ranch in Longmont: Possible species include Wild
Turkey, Lesser Yellowlegs, Wilson’s Warbler, Marsh Wren.

October 10 at White Rocks Trail: We’ll be looking for Wilson's Snipe,

Range”

We will spend the morning at Lagerman reservoir looking for migrating
birds. We’ll discuss where they may have come from, the weather that
affects their passage and stopover, and the gap in our understanding of

Sunday, October 11, “A Glimpse at a Unique Boulder Habitat - White Rocks
Nature Preserve”

The area is host to a bald eagle nest, rare plants and a rare lizard that
are found nowhere else in Boulder County. We’ll keep an eye out for fossils
and view the creek scenery that will be at the height of fall color change
in this unique sand prairie ecosystem. Details and registration:
