Weather: In the first half hour, the winds were moderate (level 3, with gusts p to 22 km/hr, before switching more to the west northwest and becoming less strong toward the end of the watch when gusts had gradually diminished to 13 km/hr. The sky was originally cloudless, but around 11 AM (EST) cirrus clouds started forming toward the south, covering originally 20% of the sky, but diminishing in the next hours to 15% and then 7%. Temperature started at 20*C and got up to 22*C.
Raptor Observations: Only two migrating raptors were seen -- an immature Red-shouldered Hawk and a Sharp-shinned Hawk. Both flew in from the east very close to the observer, maybe 25 yard away at most. Non-migrating -- an immature Bald Eagle was seen soaring and harassed by several raptors, including at least one Cooper's Hawk. Another time a Red-tailed Hawk was seen being harassed by either the same or a different Cooper's Hawk.
