- Comments: "Large seabird that flew in front of the bow of the boat, several of us were able to get good looks. We tried to relocate it after it flew by but weren’t able to. Noticeably larger than nearby shearwaters. Mostly brown with dirty white under wing patches. Variable brown tones on the body and upper wings. Photos. Seen at approximately 4 miles from shore (35.37758, -120.94029)"

- Comments: "*Rare but regular. One bird h/o giving distinct metallic chink calls from rather far back in the willows on the west side of the maintenance road. Likely not the same bird seen here by Cédric Duhalde on 9/2. Very poor distant recording tba."

HY female seen initially with a small flock of Yellows on the maintenance road was soon joined by a HY male. Both birds uniformly black-and white warblers creeping on branches similarly to a nuthatch. The female was very dull and somewhat buffy with a buffy wash on the flanks and a pale cheek and throat and weaker streaking on the sides and flanks. The male had a pale base to the lower bill mandible, a darker cheek, pale throat with some black feathers, and bolder larger streaking on the sides and flanks. At least one bird heard giving dry airy chips. Photos of both birds tba at some point."

One on the Norswing drive trail north of the main entrance. Overall dull pale OCWA with evenly brighter eye arcs, smaller bill, faint grayish cast to the head, streaked breast, and unmarked undertail coverts. Tried but unable to get photos."

One at the native garden and another near the parking lot. Both very dull orange-crowneds with large bills, greener upper and paler lower eye arcs, large headed and faint hooded appearance, streaked breast, and extensive dusky-streaked undertail. At least one calling with thick metallic chips. Poor photos of both birds tba at some point."
