Have you tried Merlin Photo ID? It will tell you with better than
90% certainty.
1) Open Merlin in your phone (install Merlin first).
2) Go to "photo id".
3) Click on "take a picture".
4) Take a picture of your picture (of the display on your computer).
5) Tell it where and when you took the picture.
6) Tell it to ID.
It will, almost always, come back with a single candidate that you
can trust. If
you have several photos of the bird do it for all of them for confirmation.
I do this, literally, ALL the time. I find it especially helpful for
species that I
find difficult ... such as "which gull is that".
