Like Mike, I also have a PUC at my home in Wakefield, and I also have a Haikubox in the same yard that's now been running a little over 3 years. It's noticeable in its recorded total that this year has been consistently quieter since 1st June, compared to previous years, and that the latest levels are the lowest they've been this year since the first few days of January, almost the lowest ever.
Anecdotally, I've also noticed the seeds and suet in the feeders being consumed abnormally slowly over the last week or so - usually I need to refill at least one of them every couple of days, but they're lasting twice that or longer at the moment.

Perhaps in northern Essex County? It's not from migration, since a good chunk of these birds would be residents, and I have data from previous year showing roughly what to expect. I put my feeder on a new shepherd's hook since the previous one broke, and thought maybe they did not like it, but again squirrels wouldn't probably care about this.
