This week has really flown by! It was a windy one which unfortunately meant less time open, but we still saw some migrants! With plans to test out new net locations in the coming weeks, we may be seeing even more migrants real soon, stay tuned for that! Here are this weeks totals:
Brown Thrasher - 1
Northern House Wren - 1
American Robin - 1
Wilson’s Warbler - 2
Black-capped Chickadee - 1
Red-breasted Nuthatch - 5
Lincoln's Sparrow - 1
Swainson's Thrush - 3
The station will be open at the Sawmill shelter tomorrow (9/13) through next Wednesday (9/16) (weather permitting). Come up and see some birds with me, anyone is welcome and nets are open from about 6:15a-12:15p if the wind allows it!
