Hi all,
There were many warblers to be found this morning at Hellyer County Park! Northern Yellow Warblers were all over the place (saw 10 at least). The largest amount of warbler activity was at the northwestern end of the Velodrome Picnic area, around 37.28898, - 121.81318. Warblers were passing through the trees almost constantly, and I saw 7 Northern Yellow, 3 Townsend’s, and 2 Orange-crowned just in that one area! I also heard 1 Orange-crowned and at least 1 Northern Yellow singing. No rarities today unfortunately, but the spot definitely seems like it has potential! Maybe someone else can find something cool soon :)
