Visitors: 20, including about 10 from a Knee High Naturalists group.
Weather: Mostly cloudy in the morning with a brief period of sprinkles. A blue sliver on the north horizon slowly moved south resulting in a nearly clear sky by the late afternoon. Light northerly winds.
Raptor Observations: The best flight out of the past five days. Broad-winged Hawks were most numerous with 43, including a group of 11. Some gave nice looks as they lifted off in the morning. The broad-wing flight was concentrated in the morning. Sharp-shinned Hawks had their best flight so far this season with 18. Nine Ospreys. For falcons we had four kestrels and two Merlins.

Predictions: TOMORROW: Partly cloudy becoming cloudy. High 81F. Winds SE at 10-15mph. Conditions should be good enough for raptors to be active, but migration may slow as it gets cloudier and the winds shift to a less favorable direction.
SUNDAY: Morning showers then partly cloudy. High near 85F. Winds WNW at 5-10mph. The count may be delayed, but conditions are looking good for the afternoon as it clears up.
MONDAY: A few morning showers then sunny. High 76F. Winds NNW at 10-15mph.
