I had a Swainson’s or early Hermit Thrush here in the Seahurst neighborhood of Burien this morning. Merlin says that HETH is "unlikely in Burien today", but got a photo of it and I’m no sure. I must admit that the comparison photos in allaboutbirds don’t help me at all. They all look alike to me!
The bird had found its way into our detached garage and was trying to get out through a window that doesn’t open. It fluttered about then sat patiently as I photographed it before I redirected it to the main door.
If anyone would like to see the photo to help me identify it conclusively, I can send it to you. I don’t have an online photo library.
