Hi Tweets, Vaux's Swifts have been roosting in the Monroe chimney all week (see numbers below), and we invite you out tomorrow evening to witness their spectacular roosting behavior for yourself! Where: Wagner Performing Arts Center (639 West Main Street, Monroe, WA 98272 <https://maps.app.goo.gl/wf2x5HvqcGannrQu7>) When: 4:30pm - sunset (~8pm) We'll have children's activities, a presentation on swifts at 6pm by Larry Schwitters, the 911 GRUB food truck on site, and wildlife-focused vendors to peruse. Normally the swifts enter the chimney near sunset, but with rain in the forecast Saturday evening, they may decide to enter a little early. So, we encourage you to arrive early so you don't miss them!
