- Comments: "I first spotted these birds swimming and noticed their pale blue bills with black tips and smaller-than-mallard size. Later, they wandered up onto the mud and I was able to see the cinnamon sides and white belly. Head more grayish compared to warm brown sides, with dark patch behind the eyes on both. Photo through scope."
