According to birdcast.info, there was a very large movement of birds last night.  However, due to a lingering storm front here in Kirksville, they stalled just north of us.
So I suspected that they might begin to move through our area as the storm front cleared.  The storm front cleared around 8am this morning and the migrants started coming through.
We had a few flurries of activity, as well as an occasional 1-2 migrants at a time.
Highlight of the day was a Canada Warbler.  I counted 13 migrating species, including a very bright Baltimore Oriole, without the black-colored head.

There also seemed to be a lot of Common Nighthawks migrating overhead.
