Yes, there is so much to learn & to share with others. I bird near a Shaw's near the Charles River in Waltham. I did see a Hummingbird there this year & had thought I got a photo, but it was too quick. That was the 2nd time I saw one along the river. Today I got a Spotted Sandpiper, I shared the photo with a couple of the cashiers one of whom is particularly interested. I've had a very good relationship with Shaw's on River St in Waltham. I saw a Monarch along there too. Folks ask if it was a migrating one-I have no idea & how to tell?

Since then a single female whips in to drink or suck up nectar. They are migrating along the shore line, are very skittish unlike my summer birds.I wonder if they are migrants that remember my feeders and flowers from past years.
