A strange day for bird activity today with some early movement and then around 8:30 - 10AM, it was very quiet. We did squeak out 20 bird species for the day with Pine Sisken being first of the season. Yesterday after photo confirmation, we did catch a Blue-headed Vireo. *53 New Banded Birds* Wilson's Warbler- 21 MacGillivray's Warbler- 1 Orange-crowned Warbler- 1 Townsend's Warbler- 1 Unknown Yellow-rumped Warbler- 1( Once again a bird having both Myrtle and Audubon's Characteristics) Willow Flycatcher- 1 Dusky Flycatcher- 1 Western Wood-pewee- 4 Olive-sided Flycatcher- 1 Warbling Vireo- 1 (taking measurements it was in the overlap of Western and eastern subspecies) Cassin's Vireo- 1 Pine Siskin- 2 Lincoln's Sparrow- 1 Green-tailed Towhee- 2 House Finch- 1 Western Tanager- 1 Yellow-breasted Chat- 3 Swainson's Thrush- 1 Gray Catbird- 2
