Subject: [Tweeters] Unusual bill color - White-crowned Sparrow
One of the adult plumage White-crowned Sparrows in our front yard this
morning has a dark upper bill. The base of the bill is normal
yellow-orange. The lower bill is normal yellow-orange, with a dark patch in
the middle. I've never seen this before.
