Nebirders,Rachel and I had a fantastic afternoon of birding for fall migration. We started with our fifth Empidonax Flycatcher of fall, followed by Blue-headed Vireo, Nashville Warbler and a Swainson’s Thrush. We also had a Northern House Wren, a Downey Woodpecer, and two sub-adult Northern Robins. Rachel got fantastic photos of all but the Wren, which I caught a couple of with my phone. Oh, and two feeding Ruby-throated Hummingbirds also came by and dueled for dominance. John & Rachel HallOmaha, NE 68137
