Subject: [southbaybirds] Willow Flycatcher Almaden Lake
The west side of Almaden Lake was very birdy just north of the
pedestrian bridge. A Willow Flycatcher was vocalizing softly and
flitting around with another possible WIFL. Yellow Warbler, six in all,
were here and before the stand of eucs at the south entrance. I heard
Scaly breasted Munia and found five Western Tanager in the same area
between the bridge and the south gate. Northern Flicker and Western
Bluebirds were heard. It was birdy for only an hour after I arrived at 8:30.
