Weather: Mostly sunny with light northerly winds.
Raptor Observations: Overall slow for migration. A handful of decent looks, though some migrants were quite high. Broad-winged Hawks were most numerous with 17. The only Osprey was a high steamer in the last hour. Small numbers of other expected migrants including 3 sharpies, 2 kestrels, and a Merlin. A Merlin dove at a juvenile Cooper's Hawk in the morning.

New species for season: Common Merganser, Swainson's Thrush, Prairie Warbler.
Predictions: TOMORROW: Mix of sun and clouds. High 87F. Winds SSW at 10-15mph. An increasingly strong unfavorable wind that will bring hot weather for the afternoon. Should be decent conditions for raptors to be flying but the direction may hold back the migration.
THURSDAY: Rain showers early then mostly cloudy later. Warm. High around 85F. Winds W at 5-10mph. Probably unfavorable conditions. Count may be shortened.
FRIDAY: Sun with a few passing clouds. High 81F. Winds NNW at 5-10mph. Overall favorable conditions for migration.
