Good morning, birders. I’ve noticed for about a month, Allen’s hummers showing up on the Sonoma and Marin counties EBird rare bird alerts. Allen’s (Selasphorus) hummingbirds, which typically show up here the last week of January, are still present here on the Taylor Ln property on and around the feeders.
P.S. I miss how this listserve used to be utilized before EBird. It was always more descriptive, more personal. Alas.
