Subject: [MASSBIRD] Not birds-Lantern Fly - Squaw Rock/Nickerson park |
By chance I found a Lantern Fly at the flat area on the north side of the quarry at the former Squaw Rock (now Nickerson Park) in Squantum.
I was surprised at the small size and the difficulty to capture it. It eluded me, but am concerned about this.
Does anyone know if this needs to be reported to anywhere else?
