Weather:
Clear skies to start becoming mostly cloudy by the afternoon. Light to
moderate northeasterly winds. Pleasant day.

Raptor Observations:
Another good flight for early in the season. Broad-winged Hawks were most
numerous with 54. Kestrels had a strong flight with 27. Fewer Ospreys with
only eight today. Moderate Accip numbers with 14 sharpies and 13 Coops. Six
harriers including at least two adult males.

Migrants were mostly high overhead but a few were lower and gave nice
looks.

Hawk Watch: 2 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, Common Raven, 59 monarchs.

New species for season: Yellow-billed Cuckoo

Predictions:
TOMORROW: Sunny. High around 80F. Winds light and variable. Moderate
conditions. Hopefully the good migration will continue. Spotting may be
difficult if there aren't clouds.

TUESDAY: Mainly sunny with a few afternoon clouds. High 83F. Winds light
and variable. Moderate conditions.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny with a few clouds early. High 86F. Winds SSW at
10-15mph. A shift back to less favorable winds and fairly strong.
