Subject: [NHBirds] Sanderling (and more) - Laconia
This morning there has been a Sanderling on Bartlett Beach and the adjacent private beach in Laconia.  While watching this bird with Dan Mullarkey, it walked within a few feet of us.  This is only the second eBird record for Belknap and Keith and Fox says there are only 16 inland records since 1950.
Also present:
Semipalmated Sandpiper - he and the Sanderling were inseperableLeast Sandpiper -1Spotted Sandpiper -3While watching the above, in flew a Pectoral Sandpiper, the 9th shorebird species I have seen on this beach.
Spoiier - Iain MacLeod has an update for today's shorebird list at Bartlett Bech.
Enough frivolity, it's time to find 6 more nighthawks.
