Weather: Mostly cloudy skies with occasional peeks of sunshine but also a few rain showers in the afternoon. Variable temperature in the high fixities and low sixties. Light wind from the northeast becoming calm by the end of the day.
Raptor Observations: Steady trickle of birds ending in a triple-digit day. Raptor highlights included a kettle of seven broad-wings, four adult Bald Eagles circling together over North Pack, and a Peregrine tussling with a broad-wing from high in the sky to down below tree level.
Non-migrants: 1 Sharp-shinned Hawk, 1 Broad-winged Hawk, 1 Red-tailed Hawk, 1 Peregrine Falcon, 2 Turkey Vultures, and 6 Bald Eagles.
Non-raptor Observations: Other bird species included a Chimney Swift flying above North Pack, three Tree Swallows heading south, and a Barred Owl calling in the distance.
Ruby-throated Hummingbirds: 4/28 Monarchs: 54/108
