Visitors: 42, a couple with interest/questions on the migration.
Weather: Light northerly winds, an occasional gust to maybe 10-12 mph. Temp = 21-26C, 95% cloud cover to start dropping to 50% at end of watch. Visibility excellent.
Raptor Observations: Remarkable variety and numbers for this site for an early September date. Largest B-Wing kettle was 12 birds. Juvenile Red-shouldered seen but turned north and not counted. As typical, local BV and TV activity along with Red-taileds and bald eagles.
Non-raptor Observations: Common nighthawk, common raven, pair of Pileated WP, rather large and vocal woodland flock comprised of mainly WB Nuthatches and Tufted Titmice. Warbler seekers (David, Frank, and Steve) picked up Tennessee, Magnolia, Blackburnian, Black-throated Green, and Cape May in the trees immediately behind the platform.
