As a correction to last night, I have been informed that there *is* an
upcoming workshop (I neglected to check this week, although *last week*
nothing was there...😏). Sylvia Gallagher will run her Birds of Southern
California workshop from October 6 to December 17. Those interested in
enrolling in it can send in the reservation form, postmarked after
September 8, located here:

In addition, a presumed MASKED BOOBY (based on perception of the bill color
on the adult bird) was video'd from a distance from the Newport Pier on
August 31.
