Around 4 pm yesterday (Thursday) I noticed the oaks, maples and birch in my yard were alive with warblers and vireos flitting from branch to branch and tree to tree. Most were black-throated green and red-eyed vireos - I counted over 20 of each. I also spotted several common yellowthroat, parula and blue-headed vireos plus many others I couldn't see well enough to identify. A pair of Baltimore orioles also made an appearance.
