Hi,
I was in Edison for dinner at The Longhorn (Jalapeno, mango, prawn
tacos!)
yesterday and drove thru/around the East and West 90s on the way home.
Saw 3 red-tails, a couple of GBH, no eagles, no owls, lots of blackbirds
on the
wires, and one un-identified white bird that might have been some kind of
kite or a very large swift or perhaps a dove/pidgeon. One of the RTHs was
sitting on a very low bush along the waterway that flows near the corner of
Farm-to-Market and Allen West ... remarkable since it was so low and not up
on a wire.
There were a -few- fishermen in the Samish and some recent reports of
Coho
(silvers) in the Skagit ... so the fall in rush is not far away.
The state of the tide was "high" so we didn't go to Channel Drive.
