Thursday, September 3rd -
A near-adult Lesser Black-backed Gull was seen on Randalls Island, as were a variety of other species, still including Yellow-crowned Night Herons there. At Bryant Park in Manhattan, a Yellow-breasted Chat was ongoing, with a modest variety of other migrants seen there. At Central Park in Manhattan, at least 20 species of migratory warblers were seen on Thursday. Other locations around the county also again held a wide variety of migrant birds. Common Nighthawks continue to be found on their way south.
