Subject: Red Slough Bird Survey - Sep 3

It was partly cloudy and warm, with a light wind on the bird survey today. 42 species were found. Was a slow day. Concentrated on water birds mostly so saw few Passerines. Black-bellied Whistling Duck numbers continue to increase. A few shorebirds were starting to show up.
