Weather: 73-83 degrees F, nice 6mph W wind. Too foggy to count for the first hour but cleared up to about 15% cloud cover and great visibility
Raptor Observations: Bald eagle (1): 1345a
2 local bald eagles stopped by for a bit as well.
Most everything used updrafts on the north side of the ridge. Nice looks at my personal first 2 merlin of the season, and I believe my highest osprey total on the day so far.
Non-raptor Observations: 8 hummingbirds, dozens of tree swallows, yellowthroat, black-throated green, black-billed cuckoo calling.
Felt like there were more lanternflies than usual. Also got pooped on by a millipede.
Predictions: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
