Visitors: None
Weather: Heavy AM clouds from the back end of predawn thunderstorms that produced epic lightning were dissipating by start time. Temperatures rose into the low 80sF. Winds were west and SW at about 7 mph. Sky conditions were ideal for viewing but migrating raptors failed to show..
Raptor Observations: After our first three days of the season we have yet to tally any migrating raptors.
Local raptors were two Turkey Vultures, a Cooper's Hawk in a brief tussle with a Red-shouldered Hawk and a single adult Red-tailed Hawk that settled into a nearby tree.
Non-raptor Observations: Chimney Swifts: 15 max count Barn Swallows: a few
Predictions: Mostly sunny and 88 The threat of late afternoon showers should not affect the count. ======================================================================== Report submitted by David Eberly (<david.eberly...>) Rose Tree Park information may be found at: bcdelco.org/activities/rose-tree-park-hawkwatch/
